Warm-up/pre-speaking

  • Elicit places that people usually have interest in visiting

                        e. g beach, islands, mountains, cities, forests, deserts…

 

 

Speaking

1.  Explain that sts will be working in pairs. Form the pairs.

2.  Give students a picture inside an envelope so only one of the students  can see it.

3.  Ask Student 1 to describe his picture orally. Meanwhile student 2 will have to listen and choose what place is being described.

4. Ask Student 2 to  describe his/her picture.

5. Complete a Venn Diagram in pairs using the pictures.

6. Share orally what they have found out.

 

Post-speaking

Discuss which place they would like to visit and why.
